First Factory

To the North-Eastern parts of Pretoria, situated on the main east- west highway through Pretoria, is the new N4 Gateway Light Industrial Park, a unique development, offering 124 Industrial stands in the Pretoria East Area.

Superbly located on the N4 Highway near upmarket suburbs like Silverlakes and with accessibility to the N1 Hans Strijdom Drive and Bronkhorstspruit Road, N4 Gateway is perfectly situated for operations which service Pretoria, Mpumalanga and Limpopo markets. The 46 hectare development comprises of 124 stands ranging from 1 493 sq meters to 10 562 sq m. The development’s estimated cost is R350 million.

The development is gaining momentum, as   25% of all stands have been sold. The first 5 100 sq meters of midi-factory units is complete, and it is projected that more than 25 factories and warehouses will be fully developed by the middle of 2011.

Another aspect that makes investment in the N4 Gateway so attractive for investors and buyers is the high price that Uniqon puts on the development of safety and security at the Park.  Never before has security been such a key focus point for an industrial development.  They redefined the concepts of safety and security by offering a comprehensive security solution: 3m high security walls with electrical fencing, with CCTV low light cameras mounted on light poles at 50m intervals, images from these cameras are recorded onto recorders. Access and exit is also controlled 24 hours a day, with separate turnstiles for pedestrians, and capturing the front view of vehicles with numberplate recognition and identification

Its location on the N4 and Hans Strijdom interchanges makes it the ideal place to relocate your business to, and with all stands in this Industrial Park fully serviced and security on a very high standard, this is what Chempure, a chemical company has done.

Chempure’s operation include the importing and distribution of pharmaceutical products. They chose to relocate their business to the N4 Gateway Industrial park because of its easy access to not only Gauteng but also to Mpumalanga and Limpopo province.

Their industrial building is situated on a corner stand, easily accessed and with a high visibility.

Chempure’s factory will be opened in October 2010.  The building of 2 200 m2 will accommodate their Factory, warehouse and Head Office.

Ubicon Wonings (Pty) Ltd constructed this industrial building and is also developing the entire N4 Gateway Light industrial Park.
